General Information
The Park is open to visitors everyday, with free entrance.
Pic-nic lovers can use our barbecues placed in many spots inside the park, respecting the park rules and fire-avoiding laws.
Our rich animal treasure originates, for the most part, from donations made to the park in the 80s. Animals live inside middle size enclosures, which include shelters for night time. Although the choice of the animals to be included in our park has not followed ecological criterias, we only host animals who can well acclimatize themselves and, most of all, are not dangerous at all so they can live in a semi-freedom status.
Every facility inside the park are managed by one enterprise, named "COOPERATIVA PARCO NATURALE ATTREZZATO", and are directed by one main central direction which dates visits in every period of the year.
Our services are the following:
Camping Piano Orlando:
Open from April to October, with possibilities of season forfaits. Dating is recommended. The Camping Park Cavriglia , fully immersed in the Classic Chianti , features 100 completely shadowed places, and 70 places for campers and roulottes.
The camping features: minimarker, camper services, game park, mountain bike rental, and a new Swimming pool which represents a great entertainment opportunity for adults and children.
Sun Field Hostel:
Placed in one of the most beatiful zones of the Park, enjoying a wonderful view of Valdarno, and shadowed by large trees, the bungalows of the Sun Field hostel arecompletly renewed and are the best for self managed travels and groups: 40 beds divided in bungalows , a group of common services, a large kitchen and a small football field complete this area.
Open all the year long. Ideal for groups, school camps, sport meetings. Dating is recommended.
Park Hotel:
Open all year. In winter, open only on dating and for 15 persons minimum. Dating is recommended.
Park Restaurant:
The Park Restaurant, divided in two large and well lightened rooms, offers traditional dished and old recipes of the Tuscan Cousin, revisited end enriched with new flavours. Herbs of the surroundings and our cook's fantasies will realize specialities made of esquisite secrets.
Open all days from April to October (closed on Tuesdays). Open everyday for lunch during winter, and on dating for dinner. The restaurant is a wondeful setting for ceremonies and groups.
Hot Lunch Counter:
The hot lunch counter is a wonderful shelter for visitors in the coolest times of the year; the bar is warmed by a small chimney and features comfortable WCs. The roast meet shop, open at Sunday lunchtime, is a great self-service where you can taste homemade products, meat and cakes, and at dinner time it is a wonderful Pizza restaurant.
Open all year long on sundays at lunchtime as a self-service. From March to November it is also open at dinner time as a Pizza restaurant. From May to October the Pizza restaurant is open even on Sunday evenings.
